Here at the Human Body, we are constantly looking to add new members to our diverse team. Are you produced by the C-cells in the thyroid gland? Do you strive to fight back against the parathyroid hormone and keep the calcium and phosphate levels in the blood under control? Are you determined to reduce the calcium levels in the blood by obstructing osteoclasts from breaking down bones and therefore releasing calcium into the blood? You must also be able to cut down the amount of calcium that the kidneys are able to re-absorb. If you can do all this as well as be a fast responder and are able to adjust quickly based on demand, WE WANT YOU!
