Did you adopt "Jacob" from the OHS the week of October 17?

My cat went missing on October 11 2016 near the Montfort Hospital on Montreal road. After a week he was finally found.
Sadly he was already adopted out by the OHS.
He was adopted Monday/Tuesday of this week under the name "Jacob". His photo and details were posted on their site ONLY after the adoption was pending. He was brought into OHS less than 2 hours after escaping from one block away from our home on October 11.
My son and I are beyond crushed and want our little man back. I've spoken with OHS and explained our home, my health situation and how #EzioAuditore has been my everything in my recovery. How being stuck at home healing he has been with me every step of the way. He's been instrumental in therapy to stay out of the black cloud of depression that all too often hits in times of great change or challenge. That Ezio is beyond adored, has been trained as a jumper and even has an Instagram following larger than mine. That even #Moby is his fan. That he has a finicky belly and is reactive to fish. That I've only spent a few nights sleeping without him by my side until the 11th. That he loves when his teeth get brushed after I'm done mine.
THAT WE HAVE BEEN LOOKING EVERYWHERE FOR HIM.
He was even reported lost to them. They said they can only provide his new owner the details I gave them. I'm hoping we can do more. Social media says we can find him and bring him home.
Did you adopt Jacob in October from OHS? Do you know someone who recently brought home a new amazingly social kitty? We will do anything to get him back!
Please share this anywhere you can think of in the hope that the person who adopted him sees this and has the compassion to let him come home. We will absorb all costs and more.
