Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto is currently looking for healthy men and women (18-30 years) to participate in a study regarding gum disease. Gum disease is a common oral condition - This trial will help to improve the diagnosis and treatment options. Participants should be generally healthy with good oral hygiene. Non-smokers (no past history of smoking as well as currently non-smokers) are only considered for the study. The participants will have to attend 7 weekly visits and no brushing for 3 weeks (21 days). Also willing to provide one vial (5ml) of blood each visit for 6 weeks. The participant will be compensate $ 450 at the end of the trial (Once you complete 7 weekly visits). Further you will be providing free Dental Cleaning Treatment/scaling (Cost $650) as well as toothbrushes, dental floss and toothpastes ($ 20) during the trial period.
